En vandring langs Norge - A walk along Norway
Den 4. juni begynner Endre Ruset, Joakim Kjørsvik og Polkabjørn den strabasiøse turen nordover, hele veien til Nordkapplåtået på Magerøy, en vandring langs Norges langstrakte land, fra helt i sør til helt i nord. Utgangspunktet for turen er naturligvis å fullføre det ultimate strekket Norge på langs, men også å samle stoff til bokprosjektet "Minste motstands vei." De siste årene har Joakim og undertegnende, Endre, tenkt tanken på en bok om det norske folk og det norske landskap, en bok om nordmannens rolle som polfarer, ekspedisjon og skoggangsmann, fra litteratur til virkelig liv, Henrik Ibsens Peer Gynt, til ekspedisjonsmenn som Roald Amundsen, Fridtjof Nansen og Thor Heyerdal. Men mest av alt er dette tenkt som en bok om alt det andre som reiser gjennom hodet på tre yngre tørste vandringsmenn som har innsett at "å gå er det nærmeste du kommer å gjøre ingenting" På turen får vi ærefullt selskap av Polkabjørn, norges mest kjente jodler, polka og schuhplattlerartist, med en distinkt interesse for gamle film og revystjerner som Leif Juster og Einar Rose, og selvfølgelig, en interesse som angår oss alle tre; whisky

Polkabjørn; Livet hans består av gale og pinlige øyeblikk, med hans forkjærlighet for hjemmebrent og eldre østerrikske menn kledd i liederhosen.
The 4th of July, Endre Ruset, Joakim Kjørsvik and Polkabjørn will walk the rough trip north all the way to the North Cape at Magerøy, a 2500 chilometre walk along the hostile country of Norway, a walk from the south point to the north. The reason for the trip is naturally to accomplish the ultimate walking trip along Norway, but also to collect material to the bookproject "Minste motstands vei" in english, slightly different; "The road most travelled by". The last years Joakim Kjørsvik and me, Endre Ruset, has discussed the possibility of making a book about the Norwegian people, the norwegian landscape, and how the norwegian prototype is pictured as a expeditioner, mountaineer, and a man of the woods, from literature to real life, Henrik Ibsens Peer Gynt, to expeditioners as Roald Amundsen, Fridtjof Nansen and Thor Heyerdal. But most of all, this is a book about everything else that travels through the mind of three young and thirsty travellers that has realized that "closest to nothing is walking". On the journey we have the honorable company of Polkabjørn, a famous norwegian yodler, polka and schuhplattlerartist with a distinct interest in old norwegian film and theatre stars suchs as Einar Rose and Leif Juster, and of course, what goes for all three of us; whisky.
Joakim Kjørsvik: He is a man of few words, but whenever he speaks, nobody listens
Endre Ruset; He thinks he is a true genius, at least he thinks so whenever he has had a few glasses.
Polkabjørn: His life consists of crazy and embarrassing moments, with his love for homemade liquor and elderly austrian men dressed in liederhosen
